French Fries

This blog has been neglected over the past half year. I usually remember to take pictures with my phone of a project I’ll work on, but then get too busy to post! I’m trying to document crafty projects and meals I work on mainly so I can remember them especially when I’m looking for ideas in the future.

Several times I’ve come back to some old recipes on my blog when I’ve been in a meal-making rut. Hopefully I can be better about posting this year!

I’ll start off with easy French Fries we like to have when it’s cold out (read: every day in Minnesota) and when I’m not in the mood to do too much work in the kitchen. If I pair these with a salad for some reason I don’t feel as bad eating them ;)

Cut up potatoes thin (I like to leave the skins on), toss in a Ziploc bag with olive oil, salt (and pepper if you love it like we do), and bake at 400 for about 20 minutes. I like to turn it up to a low broil at the end to get them a bit crispier. You should also turn them and mix them up about halfway through.
